The board of the Foundation for Red Deer Public Schools were asked to participate in the Optimists Club RadioThon to help fund raise for our Reading College.
This was mine and the Foundations second year participating.

Reading College
Sponsored by The Optimist Clubs of Central Alberta and Red Deer College, Red Deer Public Schools has developed a literacy program for students who are struggling readers. Through a dynamic program and using the excellent teaching and learning facilities at Red Deer College, these students will 'have the best summer ever' as they build skills, but more importantly increase their interest and motivation to read.
