Lifelong learning is a theme for Red Deer Public Schools. We want our students to want and know how to learn throughout their life.
The best way to teach students is by example. I have continued my education/learning throughout my life in two ways.
I continue to take University courses in a variety of subjects such as Latin, Technical writing, History of Ireland and most recently Writing a Life History. Music, art and others several years ago.
Secondly, the computer is constantly changing. I have to continually learn new things to prepare for the courses I teach or the programming I do.
